Norris Green Design was founded by Jamie Norris Green in 2012. Jamie Norris Green is an award-winning designer/maker of contemporary bespoke lighting. He also has a background in lighting design consultancy. Drawing on his experience working with some of the most famous architects and designers all over the world he created a small collection of unique, sustainable hotel lighting products that are what could be described as digitally handmade. This may sound like a contradiction of terms but by combining traditional hand crafting with digital technology and machinery. Jamie created exclusively unique pieces that are often infinitely customisable.
Over the past 5 years, we have been focused on using the most sustainable materials and processes available in our decorative lighting for hotels. This is now our company’s core value, reducing C02 emissions related to our eco-hotel lighting, designing products that can be re-used or re-manufactured whilst still manufacturing in the UK.

LumiAdd uses plant polymers to 3D print highly efficient, professional decorative lighting for hotels, on demand. The plant polymers they are using are significantly more sustainable than conventional materials currently used in the lighting industry, They produce 33% less Co2 emissions than petrochemical plastics without toxicity, and 97.5% less Co2 emissions than aluminium. They 3D print their eco hotel lighting on demand resulting in zero waste. They also manufacture and assemble all their products in the UK helping to lower each sustainable hotel lighting product’s carbon footprint.
LumiAdd products are some of the most efficient on the market. All of their standard eco hotel lighting products are above 100 luminaire lumens per circuit watt and up to 143 LLM/cW. They also achieve this efficacy with excellent light quality and colour rendering. All their standard products have a colour rendering of Ra90. The products will last too, they all have a lumen maintenance of – L90 – B10 – 50,000hrs @ Ta 25°. That’s 2- 3 times longer than consumer-type LED lamps. They also offer to buy the luminaire back at the end of its life to facilitate re-use or re-cycling, this is facilitated through QR codes on every sustainable hotel lighting product.
