Lacrimosa is Latin for “weeping” and relates to the slightly twisted teardrop pendant lights form. The shape and form is unique, unlike other lighting pendants and shades that are generally symmetrical. The soft focused light and very low glare means the pendant is perfect to hang above dining tables, coffee tables or bars.
The eco version of the Lacrimosa pendant is made from bio degradable polymers derived from sugar cane. The original lacrimosa pendant is made from reinforced plaster. Changing over to this more sustainable material lowers this products carbon footprint by 50%. Its hand finished by sanding and then painted with chemical free water based paints which are certified as having no No VOCs, solvents or heavy metals. The result looks identical to the original! Available as standard in a matte white finish with a polished brass neck detail. These pendants are hand made in Yorkshire, England. Supplied as standard with a white cord, a white metal ceiling rose and a solid polished brass cord grip.
