Business software consultancy Percipient announces that lifestyle destination hotel group Village Hotels has deployed Sage Intacct. As part of a modernisation program, the group identified a need for new digital capabilities to instil greater automation across its business. Sage Intacct now facilitates greater efficiency, collaboration and consistency across the company’s 33 sites across the UK and scales to support new initiatives and growth plans.

As part of a business review, Village Hotels identified a need for a modern, cloud-based ERP platform which could deliver business insights and empower general managers to improve business performance. Village Hotels selected Sage Intacct based on its ability to leverage APIs to integrate fully with Village Hotels’ data lake and deliver a fully integrated, comprehensive view of the business.

Now live, Sage Intacct allows the team at Village Hotels to quickly access the previous month’s figures so trading patterns are much easier to view, compare and react to. Month-end has reduced from around eight days to just three, and reporting to executives is easy and flexible and can be quickly tailored to deliver the information required. Crucially, the insights it delivers can be understood by both financial and non-financial people, giving the whole team the intelligence and autonomy to manage their respective business areas. This is particularly valuable when it comes to labour and resourcing.
