We’ve just published two Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs)—third-party verified Type III environmental declarations based on Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) following ISO 14025:2006 standard.
One covers our Carry Bag Beverages (available at Systembolaget) and produced in Lithuania. The other is our Shoulder Bag Original (available at Skinome) and made in Pakistan.
Compared to virgin textiles, the emissions are significantly lower. Reusing hotel textiles cuts CO₂ emissions fivefold. According to the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency, 1 kg of virgin textile emits 10–40 kg CO₂, while 1 kg of our finished products, approximately nine Shoulder Bags Original or twenty Carry Bags Beverages, emits:
- 2.6 kg CO₂ (Pakistan)
- 2.2 kg CO₂ (Lithuania)
Per kilogram of finished product, CO₂ emissions are 18% lower in Lithuania, primarily due to shorter transport distances, as we source materials from laundries in Sweden and Finland.
