Hi, I’m Darwin!

Founder and creator of QuirkyMonkey, a sustainable coffee supplier dedicated to alternative mushroom coffee, tea, and vegan hot chocolate mix. Our mission goes beyond simply providing plant-based hotel drinks; we aim to enhance your overall well-being, harnessing the incredible power of nature. My journey started with a fascination for natural ingredients that support and uplift us. This passion became intensely personal when I discovered I was epileptic and neurodiverse at an early age. I often turned to herbal teas and coffee to boost my energy levels and maintain mental focus, a downside of my daily medication.

After graduating from college in 2022, I faced numerous challenges that overwhelmed and frustrated me. However, I refused to let these obstacles define my future. Instead, I recognized my passion for two things: coffee and food. With this passion as my motivation, I set out to curate a unique line of functional drinks crafted for everyday enjoyment using natural ingredients.

At QuirkyMonkey, we are committed to three core principles: using high-quality, ethically sourced ingredients, providing environmentally friendly packaging, and delivering premium products at affordable prices. We believe health-conscious consumers deserve beverages they can trust, so we prioritize ingredient quality, sustainability, and affordability. By the end of 2022, my persistence finally paid off when I received my first delivery of QuirkyMonkey vegan mushroom coffee. It was an exhilarating moment that reaffirmed my belief that anything is possible if you pursue your dreams with courage and unwavering determination.

As we expand, I am excited to introduce our new line of award-winning premium plant-based hotel drinks, featuring single-sourced, Rainforest Alliance-approved Arabica coffee and deliberately unsweetened vegan hot chocolate mix, allowing you to control your sweetness preferences. We also plan to launch a mushroom tea in early Spring 2025, adding to our diverse offerings.
