Rooted in Nature

VERDEN is inspired by the focal role of nature in Co-Founder Charlotte Semler’s Danish childhood memories. On returning to her family beach house after decades away, she realised that it was the immersion in unchanging nature as much as the endless summer light that brought her back to happiness.

VERDEN captures the joyful nature, emotions and memories fragrance evokes. With guest amenity, retail, and spa offerings alongside luxury gifting.

Capturing the simplicity and style of the Scandinavian aesthetic, VERDEN has embedded itself in, and been embraced by, the interior design community, and speaks to those with an eye for beautiful design wishing to elevate their spaces.

Sustainability Minded

With nature at its core, Verden is consciously designed to be as sustainable as possible in product, packaging, and distribution. Our plastic bottles are made from post-consumer recycled PET; boxes are made from FSC recycled card, and glass containers are fully recyclable. VERDEN is also pleased to contribute one percent of its sales to environmental charities via “1% For The Planet”. So far we have donated to Sea Wilding, a Scottish charity working to restore degraded inshore marine habitats.

Founder Story

VERDEN was founded by Charlotte Semler and Arabella Preston – the team behind VOTARY skincare. While working together on VOTARY, they became aware of how important and impactful natural fragrances and the beauty in the joy of the memories and the emotions it evokes. This inspired VERDEN, a brand totally dedicated to the delights and pleasures of natural fragrance.
