We’re Repurpose, a female-founded, small business that makes plant based dinnerware, trash bags and bamboo paper products from plants. Our mission is to create alternatives to the single-use, everyday items that pollute our home planet.

At Repurpose, what started as a problem became the root of why we are who we are today – plastic. Since launch, we’ve kept over 4M lbs of plastic waste out of landfills and counting, and that’s how we’ll continue to measure our success towards a sustainable (+ plastic-free!) future with plant-based, certified compostable and non-toxic sustainable hotel tableware alternatives.

Welcome to a world where sustainable choices naturally fit into modern life. Sustainability is all we do. It’s who we are and we’ve always been. Since 2010, we’ve made the best plant-based, non-toxic, sustainable hotel tableware as alternatives for single-use plastic products.

Designed by a parent, Repurpose’s compostable tableware products are made using upcycled materials such as eucalyptus, sugarcane pulp, and wood. Made for any casual or classy occasion, our durable, convenient products are plant-based, compostable, and toxic-free.

We thrive to offer accessible and convenient sustainability to our customers and improve our innovative plant based dinnerware at every opportunity we get. All our products are designed for a circular economy, are made from renewable materials, have a lower carbon footprint and our packaging always prioritizes sustainable solutions.

Renewable Materials
We use upcycled and renewable materials whenever possible to create our sustainable hotel tableware for the now and for the future, but not forever.
These materials are processed with methods that release fewer greenhouse gasses and toxic chemicals into the environment than conventional plastic and paper.
All in all, composted products help grow the plant-based materials we will use to make our future products – this is what is called a circular economy.
Non-toxic
All of our materials are completely non-toxic – free of PFAS, BPA, and other common household toxins.
Certifications
All of our compostable tableware products go through thorough quality testing for compostability, and we work with the most independent certifications entities in the industry (namely BPI, TUV, USDA and FSC).

Unlike traditional single-use, our products aren’t designed to end up in the landfill.

Our plant based dinnerware still has a tremendously lower impact on our planet in comparison to toxic plastic, and they will degrade over time.
