We use hand teased Dartmoor wool in every mattress we make which comes from the family farm, and is why our customers find our beds so comfortable.

We use the finest Belgian damask mattress ticking made from only natural materials and treated with non-harmful chemical fire retardants for your safety and to the crib 5 criteria required for the hospitality trade.
At Enchanted House Beds, craftsmanship and attention to detail is paramount. In our newly extended fabulous factory, every one of our premium hotel mattresses, divan and headboards are meticulously made by hand all under one roof.
We have a fantastic range of premium hotel mattresses handmade using pocket springs and natural hand teased ingredients are the perfect combination for the support you need for your body along with the comfort we need to provide a peaceful and undisturbed night’s sleep. We provide a guarantee card with each mattress which is signed by the craftsman who made your bed and countersigned by our business owner, Stuart Cann.
Our pocketed divans are made using FSC certified timber from sustainable sources, can be ordered with solid timber drawers on soft close runners and are made using a layer of pocketed springs and cotton and wool fillings. All the divans are then beautifully upholstered to the most exacting standards.
We also use cotton and wool padding in all our headboards for natural comfort prior to expert tailoring.
Our Heritage: Traceability of ingredients is so important to our customers today and along with other responsibly sourced natural fillings, the core filling, our Dartmoor Wool, is weighed and hand teased generously in all our beds. It comes from our very own private family farm in the heart of Dartmoor. With over a century of sheep farming experience, we are the only UK luxury handmade beds makers who produce all of their own wool! The sheep graze on only the best pasture and produce the most wonderful, soft and sumptuous wool which helps us all to sleep peacefully in the knowledge that the animals are responsibly cared for.
