The Noodoll story began in London during our Founder/Creator Yiying Wang’s MA course at Central St Martins. Originally from Taiwan, Yiying was inspired by the food of her culture. Adopting the malleable nature of noodles, she created the playful hotel stuffed toys synonymous with the brand.

Ricemonsters are at the heart of Noodoll. Cheeky, grumpy, funny and playful each loveable character has its own personality. Coming in many shapes and sizes, in addition to popular plush toys, the Noodoll collection now includes homeware products, stationery, hotel stuffed toys, and accessories.

In 2009 ‘The World of Noodoll’ was published – An illustrated book authored by our founder Yiying Wang featuring a cast of characters made from rice and noodles. Two years later, Ricemon and Riceroar leapt from the page and became the first in a canon of unique plush toys, known as Ricemonsters.

Ricemonsters are the driving force behind Noodoll. Championing diversity and self-acceptance, just like us they come in different shapes and sizes, with distinctive personalities, allowing for big and little ones to form a bond with their favourite characters. We provide unique, fun hotel stuffed toys.
