The Weaver – the label founded in 2012 is a journey taken by Shilpa & Aniruddh Maroo. “A joke we often cite with family and friends is that we took this up as a three-month explorative journey…and we still feel we’re in month 3. Little did we realise that what we took up as an experiment would end up paving the pathway for not just our individual careers but empower us to establish what we truly believe is to be a world-class rugs and carpets company.”

Shilpa, having her background with over a decade of experience in the FMCG sector and Aniruddh, having dipped his hands into the family business of Steel, came from very diverse experiences. The synergies and diversities brought by their unique experiences and backgrounds have propelled The Weaver to flourish in ways beyond.
