It’s always good when two companies collaborate with each other!
Technology providers SuitePad and Hotelbird are doing exactly that.
They have bundled their technology know-how and brought their respective systems together: SuitePad’s BYOD (bring-your-own-device) solution with the Hotelbird app; the in-room SuitePad tablet with the Hotelbird check-in / out terminal; as well as across and vice versa.
“This means that the entire guest journey is now covered digitally. It’s a seamless, digital, and hygienic guest experience from pre-stay to check-out – keyword ‘seamless guest journey’ “, Moritz von Petersdorff-Campen, co-founder and managing director of SuitePad, is pleased about the new cooperation. “Hotel guests simply have different wishes and preferences, so it makes sense to offer them many options from which they can choose the most suitable.”
Juan Sanmiguel, CEO of Hotelbird, adds: “SuitePad is the perfect partner for us, with its strong focus on the direct and digital guest communication that we complement perfectly.”
Hotel guests and their hosts benefit greatly from this collaboration because they will no longer face disconnected solutions. They will experience a combination of two systems that act, communicate, and function as one. This is how the guest journey can play out with SuitePad and Hotelbird: From now on, hotel guests can be made aware of SuitePad’s BYOD (Bring-your-own-device) solution in the pre-stay email. They will find out about the hotel and the upcoming stay. This includes the option of online check-in with the Hotelbird app. Alternatively, the Hotelbird check-in/-out terminal can also be used on-site. They then have the option of using a digitally available room key. Once in the room, guests can use the SuitePad in-room tablet which combines guest directory, hotel telephone, and hotel TV remote control on one device. The check-out can then take place via the SuitePad in the room as well as the Hotelbird app or the Hotelbird check-in/-out terminal.
