Joris Kuipers – Wall Sculptures / Installation

The modular wall sculptures of BERM and Nocturnal Garden evoke the beauty and intricacy of roadside plants or underwater coral reefs. These floral installations fill walls with varying densities of foliage, creating a captivating display reminiscent of nature’s abundance.

As one observes the artwork from different angles and distances, smaller elements hidden within the layers start to emerge and disappear, adding an element of surprise and discovery. Walking past these sculptures becomes a dynamic experience, as the hidden details become visible and then disappear again, creating a sense of movement.
