John Davies Framing – Scrolled Cassetta

Inspired by Italian origins, this frame would particularly complement an Italian capriccio painting or a statement mirror.

Carved in lime wood on a pine base, then layered with gesso and gilded with 23.75 carat gold leaf in the traditional manner, this frame can be finished and toned as required. It can be made to any dimensions, subject to a minimum width of 8cm. The example shown measures 100 x 114 x 13cm.
