John Davies Framing – Reverse ripple frame

This frame has a reverse profile, pushing the artwork or mirror to the fore. With ripple detailing which will catch the light without being gaudy, this frame is inspired by the frames of North Italy and Germany in the 17th Century – a style which has stood the test of time.

Made in polished pearwood on a pine base, French polished by hand to your preferred colour, from mid brown through to deep, rich black. The frame can be made to any dimensions, subject to a minimum profile width of 6cm. The example shown measures 40.4 x 30.9 x 9cm.
