Creatively designed to fit existing street furniture, such as parking posts or bollards, the Gecko connects either as a single or twin socket to a Connected Kerb’s subterranean charger unit, monitoring and controlling power flow to the socket and vehicle. As all Connected Kerb products, the Gecko is designed for facilities with longer dwell time, offering a 7kW to 22kW charge.
Connected Kerb is the only charge point provider that separates the intelligence of the charger from the socket. Our “node box” which comprises power and data connection is installed underground, allowing quick repairs and replacements with minimum down time. It also enables easy future upgrades and adaptation to future technologies such as wireless/ induction charging.
