Timage has a wide range of marine fabrics which are of course highly suitable for domestic or retail installations. Most commonly adopted for wall linings, exterior cushions and furniture inlays or feature panels, in faux-leather grains or unique surface finishes. They can be for interior or exterior and often are waterproof on top of having high UV resistance. We also offer the ability to have the fabric rolls pre stitched and foam laminated to give quilted patterns of various designs. For a completely waterproof option, some marine grade FF&E materials can be heat-welded to form these quilted patterns and give a robust, fully cleanable solution. As well as the typical polyester or polyurethane compositions we now feature silicone construction which is the ultimate for cleanability and eco-friendly properties.
A novelty in the mattress and cushioning sector is our innovative filling called Breathair® . It is super-lightweight, holds virtually no water or condensation, so is free draining, causing no rot and remains anti-bacterial. It is therefore often specified for hospitals and care homes and is also used for the seat mouldings of the Japanese Shinkansen bullet trains. It has strong rebound making an ideal alternative to sprung bases, with extremely high-performance testing. Due to the very low toxins released if burnt, it is also able to be recycled, rather than becoming landfill.
