Mid-century inspired contemporary hotel wallpaper, eco-friendly wallpaper and soft furnishings for hotels with eco credentials – Mini Moderns
Established in 2006 by London based designers, Keith Stephenson and Mark Hampshire, Mini Moderns create contemporary hotel wallpaper and soft furnishings for hotels with a mid-century mood. Their collections create a dramatic statement in both commercial and domestic settings. All their products are produced in the UK and their eco-friendly wallpaper is manufactured to the best eco-standards achievable.
Contemporary Hotel Wallpaper – Pattern with a story
Sharing a love of mid-century design and a passion for social history, the design duo’s ‘pattern with a story’ is often inspired by travel, music and film. From nautical scenes to abstract architecture, Mini Moderns create surface pattern with unexpected subject matter, lending a distinctive atmosphere to commercial spaces.
Produced in the UK, using a limited palette of 15 signature colours, the entire range of contemporary hotel wallpapers, cushions, lampshades and other furnishings for hotels have been created to coordinate – whether your scheme demands subtle coordination or bold pattern clash.
With listings in major UK retailers and oversees, Mini Moderns’ designs have achieved a cult following throughout the UK, Europe, the US, New Zealand and Australia, helped by the worldwide publication of their book: “Mid-century Modern Living – The Mini Moderns guide to pattern and style”.
A firm favourite with interior designers, Mini Moderns eco-friendly wallpaper is frequently specified in hotels, bars, restaurants and showhomes as well as making regular appearances on TV shows such as: George Clarke’s The Restoration Man, Kirstie’s Vintage Home and DIY SOS – The Big Build.
Contemporary Hotel Wallpaper – Eco-friendly Wallpaper
There are over 40 Mini Moderns eco-friendly wallpaper designs to choose from, with pattern designs ranging from Chinese lanterns to modernist chair designs. There are 1950s abstracts and large scale geometrics; quirky coastal designs and rolling landscapes. Each design is available in up to 6 colourways, ensuring that there is a Mini Moderns contemporary hotel wallpaper to coordinate with any interior scheme.
Mini Moderns wallpaper is not only a conversation starter, it’s also a great ecological choice. All designs are produced in the UK by the traditional flexographic method, using water-based inks, printed on FSC-certified substrates. And to add to their eco-credentials, all wallpapers are produced using machinery powered by energy from renewable sources.
The majority of Mini Moderns contemporary hotel wallpapers are printed on non-woven, ‘paste the wall’ substrates, which is a great choice for ease of hanging. Some designs are also available on traditional wallpaper, hung by the ‘paste the paper’ method. All eco-friendly wallpapers come with comprehensive fire certification, available on request.
Furnishings for Hotels – Coordinating Cushions
Ten of Mini Moderns’ most popular and distinctive designs are available on furnishings for hotels, such as cushions, manufactured in the UK by a family-run business. Cushion designs are screen printed on either cotton/linen mix or 100% cotton canvas, according to style. All cushions are supplied with a curled feather pad. 2 sizes are available, according to style: 41cm x 41cm square and a 49cm x 29cm bolster.
Drum Lamp Shades
To complete the Mini Moderns look, and to perfectly tie in with Mini Moderns’ contemporary hotel wallpaper, a selection of designs are available as lampshades. The standard shade is a 36cm diameter drum of 23cm height. All shades are made in the UK, to order.
