Kazakhstan is home to the new Rixos Water World Aktau Hotel

Rixos Water World Aktau Hotel, an all-inclusive 500 room luxury resort is opening is Kazakhstan. Sitting on a 420 metre long beach, the hotel offers 500 square metres of sunbathing area and promenade pier. The property has a total of 15 luxury villas and 23 suites. The resort will employ 750 people, with some staff being trained in the United Arab Emirates and Turkey but the majority of the training taking place at the Mangistau College of Tourism. This is the most recent of five Rixos hotels in Kazakhstan, with accommodation in Almaty, Shymkent, capital Nur-Sultan and the Buraby resort zone. One of the fastest growing five star luxury hotel companies, Rixos was only founded in 2000. The resort is part of a collection of investments made by the ministry of sport and culture in Kazakhstan, with $8 billion as the combined value. The hotel is only 42 kilometres from the airport, 20 kilometres from the city centre of Aktau, and has a total area of 150,000 square metres of space. The hotel brags a luxury entertainment program with festivals, themed parties and open-aired concerts, let alone the massive variety of pools and slides.
