Although we haven’t undergone significant changes as a brand, we have learned a great deal about the intricacies of balancing various elements essential to our success. Over time, we have developed a deeper understanding of how to manage costs while still sourcing high-quality ingredients. Can you walk us through the development of one of your signature cocktails? What are some of the creative and technical challenges in creating a ready-to-serve, high-end product?
All of our signature cocktails were developed with the goal of merging the refreshing simplicity of real brewed tea with the sophistication of a high-end cocktail. The process began with a focus on quality—using only organic, sustainably sourced tea leaves. We wanted to ensure that the natural flavors were at the forefront, so the first step was perfecting the brewing process to capture the depth and richness of the tea itself.
One of the biggest creative challenges was finding that balance between being sophisticated yet approachable. We didn’t want it to taste overly sweet or artificial, so we worked with real fruit extracts and botanicals to achieve a natural, refreshing finish.
The product we struggled the most to develop was the Light and Stormy as we use real ginger. Ginger’s natural intensity can be difficult to control. By experimenting with brewing times and temperatures, we found the perfect approach to allow the ginger to infuse gradually, complementing the tea’s smoothness rather than overwhelming it. This decision to use real ginger gave the final product a richer, more authentic flavor, adding a subtle heat and complexity that extracts simply can’t match. The result is a fresh, vibrant balance that enhances the overall drinking experience.

Consumers are seeking out unique, high-quality beverages that offer more than just great taste—they want an experience.

From eco-friendly packaging to ethically sourced ingredients, luxury consumers are becoming increasingly conscious of the environmental and social impact of their purchases. Brands that prioritise sustainability are earning greater loyalty and visibility in the market.
Additionally, health-conscious choices are playing a role. We’re seeing a rise in low-alcohol or no-alcohol options, as well as beverages made with natural, organic ingredients that cater to a wellness-focused lifestyle. Consumers want indulgence without the guilt, and the industry is responding with healthier alternatives that don’t compromise on flavor or sophistication.

We’ve had some amazing feedback from both customers and partners who have served Tios cocktails, and it’s been incredibly rewarding to hear how well-received our drinks have been.
One particular moment stands out during a recent tasting event, we received amazing feedback from a group of American tourists who sampled Tios. They enthusiastically declared it the best hard tea they had ever tried! Given the vast array of hard tea options available in the U.S., it truly meant a lot to hear such high praise.
They appreciated the authentic flavor of our real brewed tea and noted how refreshing it was compared to other brands. One attendee remarked on the perfect balance of flavors, making it an ideal choice for enjoying on a warm day.
