Could you discuss the inspiration behind some of your most popular product lines?
The inspiration behind the outdoor collections Begonia, Dalya, and Amalfi, which have been quite successful since their launch, was to offer modern, minimalist furniture suitable for year-round use. The changing seasons inspired us to design durable products that are both weather-resistant and aesthetically pleasing. With a Scandinavian flair, our furniture features clean lines and neutral color palettes. They fit in different types of outdoor environments, even compact ones like balconies and terraces.
Can you elaborate on how customer feedback influences your product innovation?
We give great consideration to our clients feedback and strive to improve our products to meet their evolving needs. Recently, our Begonia lounge chair gained quite a bit of traction, and some customers suggested it would be fantastic if it could be used in the pool. We discussed it, decided to move forward with the idea, and made the necessary changes to bring it to life.
Another example was the original creation of the Dalya collection. In the past, we have received market feedback about the need for trendy, compact, sturdy and affordable outdoor furniture. We created this range specifically for small spaces owners.
What is your proudest moment at South Shore?
One of our greatest sources of pride is that we handle the entire product creation process from start to finish. Thanks to our multidisciplinary team working closely together, we oversee the entire product development process, from ideation to conception and even commercialization. When we deliver a project to a commercial client, we are always pleased to receive their positive feedback, as we are fully responsible for creating smart furniture. Needless to say, their gratitude and appreciation are what drives us every day!
What steps are you taking to make the shopping experience more personalised for customers?
We assign each commercial client their own account manager, who is responsible for supporting them throughout the entire purchasing process and ensuring their needs are met. This process ensures a smooth and personalized experience. We also offer an omnichannel experience, allowing customers to search for products online, receive finished samples, and finalize their orders with an account manager.
