How did Herbalea begin- what’s your story?
Herbalea is a brand of our company SWISS Gate AG and has been on the market since 2021. SWISS Gate AG was founded in 2019 by my brothers Dominic and Michael Hoffmann and myself, because we are convinced of the manifold advantages of hemp and wanted to develop them for the benefit of society and contribute to a more sustainable and conscious consumer culture.
What products do you offer for hotels at Herbalea?
With Herbalea we have therefore focused on the development and distribution of products with hemp based ingredients in the areas of food and cosmetics. We offer sustainable, healthy, vegan products for individuals businesses. In terms of finished products, the cosmetics range includes CBD Shampoo, CBD Skin Cream, CBD Day Cream and CBD Anti-Aging Cream, while the food range includes over 15 different products like organic hemp seeds, organic hemp pasta, hemp protein powder and organic hemp tea. In bulk, we offer various hemp products such as hemp mulled wine to hemp sausages to hemp flour and hemp leaves for cooking.

At Herbalea, we have gained over 3000 satisfied customers since we entered the market and are rated 4.94 out of 5 stars by our consumers. We are leading the way as pioneers in the market, putting compliance first and always keeping our finger on the pulse, thus remaining innovative.
One of our proudest moments was of course the launch of our campaign on Swiss state television at the end of 2021, with which we were the first brand with hemp based products to be allowed to advertise on a European state television.
What is your favourite food/bathroom product from the Herbalea collection?
Organic hemp seeds are my absolute favorite product to add to a hotel kitchen, as they offer incredible versatility. They are rich in valuable nutrients and can be used in both savory and sweet dishes. Their crunchy texture and slightly nutty flavor add a special touch to any dish, making them a healthy and delicious addition to any culinary creation.
CBD shampoo is my go-to product for any hotel bathroom as it offers unique care. Thanks to the cannabidiol it contains, it has a calming effect the scalp and promotes healthy hair growth.
