FDomes Glamping are luxurious geodesic dome kits which can be set up anywhere you can think of, making it possible to disconnect from the everyday life, explore the unknown and enjoy nature. I was fortunate enough to get a chance to speak to Joanna Riemann, Sales and Marketing Director at FDomes in more depth about their solution. Keep reading to see what she had to say!
What was the inspiration behind your company and products and how does this show in your company ethos?
We all love travelling and the slow-living concept. Inspired by that we decided to introduce the spherical tents into the glamping world. We believe that the most valuable and relaxing time is spent close to nature. That is why our domes can be set up in the most remote locations in the world.
What is your main target market currently and what market would you like to grow into more?
At the moment we deliver worldwide. We even often hear from our clients from different countries that all roads lead to FDomes. It’s extremely flattering and very rewarding as we love what we do and hearing that just confirms that we are on the right path and we are moving in the right direction. Our FDomes structures can be visited in Saudi Arabia, Canada, U.S.A, UK, Ireland, Dubai, Arctic Circle, Jordan, Mexico, Ecuador and many other places around the world. We hope to continue this trend.
What makes you different from other companies?
FDomes has a long history and is a pioneer in the spherical structures market. We started in 2008 delivering large event domes to the most recognisable companies and individuals including Lady Gaga, Ridley Scott (for “The Martian” movie), Audi, Ford Mustang and many more. In 2015, having long-term experience in geodesic domes production, we decided to introduce our FDomes spherical structures to the Glamping market. This move was a huge success due to us only providing the highest quality products and accessories. All of our domes are manufactured in our own facilities in Poland, where they are all made from scratch using the highest level of precision using our own advanced technology, unlike some other companies that import and resell dome kits from unreliable sources with questionable quality.
We provide a warranty on our products and our clients have full customer support through each phase of the process from making the decision on what to purchase, through placing the order and after-sale period if they have any questions. We do not just sell the domes, we welcome our clients into the FDomes family.

What would you say your proudest moment for FDomes has been?
It was definitely the moment our structures were used in “The Martian” by Ridley Scott. Not only was it extremely rewarding but also it was a great adventure to be on the set before shooting to build up the structures. But quite honestly, we are very proud of each and every product release. For example, being the first to offer Interior Modules to our clients, making our FDomes Glamping a unique business-in-a-box solution.
And last but definitely not least, we are proud to see the spectacular resorts of our clients all over the world, the atmosphere they create with out geodesic domes and the feedback they gather from their visitors.
What is your best selling product and why do you think that is?
At the moment our bestsellers are FDomes Glamping 40 and FDomes Glamping 50 with all of the Interior Modules. Why? Because our clients do not have to worry about anything. We deliver ready-to-use accommodation including a bathroom, kitchen, bedroom and a loft bed. It’s just enough to have a platform ready and in 2-3 days our clients are able to arrange the interior and welcome the first visitors. The sizes are not without reason either; FDomes Glamping 40 is perfect for couples but it will also easily accommodate 2+2 families whereas the FDomes Glamping 50 is considered as a VIP suite for couples or a perfect space to groups of up to 6 people.
What has been your favourite establishment that your company have supplied to?
Oh there are too many and selecting just one or two would be totally unfair! It’s like asking someone, which is their favourite child! We put our hearts into each and every project. Just take a look at our portfolio to see how spectacular these projects are!
