Carmella Jarvi – Circle Together, Creative Placemaking Project (on 6.26.21)

Local artist & Plaza Shamrock neighbor, Carmella Jarvi, is excited about our “Circle Together” street mural project.

In early 2020, she won a Creative Placemaking Neighborhood Grant from City of Charlotte’s Urban Design Center to work with neighbors (including Plaza Shamrock Neighborhood Assoc. and Get Ready for Jesus Community Church) to transform that Garinger HS/Elkwood Circle area.

Stop by on Saturday, June 26, from 10:30am to 12:30pm, by the Garinger HS/Elkwood Circle entrance to learn more about the project and give feedback.

Carmella will be with Rosa Diaz (who can translate for Spanish speaking neighbors).

They’ll be giving out a FREE, sweet treat to all who participate. (While supplies last!)
