Family-run soap, bath and body care brand ARRAN Sense of Scotland has joined forces with sixteen of its hotel partners to encourage people to focus on their mental wellbeing this autumn. As well as sharing a host of advice and tips on looking after yourself and each other during the winter months using the hashtag #UniteOnWellbeing, the brand is offering up the chance to win one of 40 hotel stays and 40 exclusive ARRAN Sense of Scotland hampers containing £200 worth of products to pamper, renew and rejuvenate. The campaign will provide customers with something to look forward to when they are able to explore the stunning landscapes the UK has to offer – something that has never been more important for our mental health, wellbeing and general morale during these difficult times. The brand has hand-picked some of the top locations for reconnecting with nature, relaxing and restoring after a turbulent year. The hotels include some of the UK’s most desirable destinations, from five-star country estates to quirky, boutique town houses: Cheval Collection, Ibis Styles Edinburgh, The Gyle, Grey Street Hotel, Malmasion, Ballachulish Hotel, Crieff Hydro Hotel, The Isles of Glencoe Hotel, Kingshouse Hotel, Murraypark Hotel, The Park Hotel, Peebles Hydro Hotel, Crear Hotel Group, Bonham Hotel, Ravenscraig House, Novotel, Kingsmills Hotel, Ness Walk, Calendonian Sleeper, The Scotsman, Tigerlily, Rabble, Inglewood House & Spa Details of the campaign and how to enter can be found at https://arran.com/pages/unite-on-wellbeing. Andrew Russell, Sales & Marketing Director from ARRAN Sense of Scotland explains more: “Through our #UniteOnWellbeing campaign we hope to lift the spirits of communities far and wide. During these unprecedented times, with restrictions placed on socialising as well as stresses and strains above what we would usually experience at this time of year, it has never been more important to look after our mental wellbeing. “One way of doing this is by taking a break or ‘staycation’ with your bubble or household. Many will have missed the opportunity to recharge mentally and physically through annual holidays, but that doesn’t mean it’s too late. We had the idea to bring together our hotel partners to help support them during these uncertain times, whilst also helping to lift the spirits of people round the UK.” “By encouraging people to get away and unwind when they can, we’re hoping to spread joy and optimism and really give people something to look forward to – the perfect antidote to the pandemic and the seemingly endless stream of bad news associated with it.” Throughout the pandemic, ARRAN Sense of Scotland has reached out to local communities to help and support where it can, not only providing free soaps to all Island residents but supporting initiatives to help the homeless and providing £100,000 worth of bath and hair care products to front line workers. This led to the company creating a new brand Purpose using the beautiful Isle of Arran as an inspiration: “Our purpose is to help the world create empowering connections with nature. When you build an empowering relationship with your environment it strengthens your mental wellbeing, supporting both yourself and the contribution you can make in the world.” Kevin Meechan, CEO, ARRAN Sense of Scotland added: “We’re very aware of the pressures on the hotel and hospitality sector at the moment and we wanted to help the industry by encouraging more people to explore the UK in future. When travel restrictions are lifted, many people will be looking for ways to relax, rest and restore so we wanted to help support our hotel partners, whilst giving customers the opportunity to get away and explore beautiful parts of the UK. The Isle of Arran is home to our Brand and has been for over 30 years. For me and my family, the Isle of Arran has always embodied relaxation, family time and love of the outdoors and nature. The ferry crossing creates that physical barrier from the mainland that almost acts as a switch that instantly allows you to escape from the stresses and pace of everyday life. This opportunity offered by our island home to escape, recharge and rejuvenate, for me, perfectly represents ‘wellbeing’, both physical and mental. With the restrictions brought around by lockdown, wellbeing has never been so important. We at Arran Sense of Scotland, by living our Purpose, aim to bring The Isle of Arran to the world and, through our products, create empowering connections with nature” The competition runs until the 31st October.
